DEK wins Guang Dong SMT Association’s Best Customer Service Award PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 10 February 2010

The Guang Dong SMT Association has announced that DEK is the recipient of this year’s Best Customer Service Award, a prestigious accolade presented to companies excelling in the area of customer support.

The China SMT Award is the only prize sponsored and conferred by a domestic Chinese organisation. As a consequence, the accolade is always fiercely contested and a great honour for its annual recipients. The programme judges companies on critical areas of customer support including reliability, manufacturing quality, responsiveness and value. DEK emerged as a clear winner in the service category, reinforced by the successful relationships it has built with customers including well-known domestic and high-profile multi-nationals.

Awarded by a respected panel of industry experts, DEK’s most recent trophy was presented to its Greater China CSG Manager, Drew Grubb, at a ceremony held in Shenzhen. Commenting on the award, Drew explains: “Here at DEK, delighting the customer is not just a slogan; it’s one of our founding principles and a philosophy at the core of our business. Delivering the ultimate, most innovative, all-encompassing customer support possible is what really sets us apart from our competitors – and our customers from theirs!”

DEK is the first company to launch a comprehensive world-class logistics network enabling customers to access spare parts and printer consumables on a rapid turnaround – delivered from DEK within 24 hours. In addition, the company has also invested heavily in extending and enhancing its state-of-the-art Shenzhen facility. The centre now houses an optimised training facility from which DEK delivers award-winning support for Chinese customers at every level. Drew concludes: “We’re always working hard to ensure DEK customers everywhere can expect more and are delighted with SMT Association’s acknowledgement of this commitment.”
