Following the 40th Annual General Meeting and the subsequent Executive Committee Meeting of the Association held in New Delhi on 10th September, 2008, A.G. ROHIRA was re-elected as the ELCINA President for the year 2008-09.

Mr. Rohira is Chairman of ELCOMPO Group of Companies, Chennai, which was established in 1973. ELCOMPO manufactures Wire Wound Components (like Flyback Transformers, Deflection Coils, Line Output Transformers) for TV, computer monitors, medical equipment etc. 

Mr. Rohira has held senior positions in State Bank of India with last assignment as Chief of their Kuwait Office. He is very active in social circles serving the Sindhi community and Industry Associations in Tamil Nadu.
